Tin Nguyen

Tin Nguyen completed a dual undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Diego. His research at the Safe Autonomous Systems Lab involved integrating ROS 2 into ROS 1 to operate multiple TurtleBot 2 robots and creating a dynamic obstacle “forest” for robotics experiments.

Tin also contributed to the Medically Advanced Devices Laboratory, where he focused on enhancing mixing in microdroplets using acoustic wave technologies.

Outside the lab, he enjoys exploring coffee shops, tinkering with electronics, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with friends discovering new places.

He now works as a Robotics Engineer at FIRESTORM Labs.
