Ethan Foss

Ethan is a PhD student at Stanford Aeronautics and Astronautics. He completed is MS studying Controls and Mechatronics at UC San Diego. His research interests involve autonomous path planning of aerospace systems. Ethan is interested in developing novel algorithms that can robustly maneuver UAVs and other systems in unknown environments with computational efficiency. In the lab he worked on applying a control barrier function refinement algorithm to quadcopters.

In his free time he enjoys playing piano and running.
