Mahesh Kumar

Mahesh Kumar is a master’s graduate from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at UC San Diego. His research interests lie in robotic perception, planning, safe control, and natural language grounding. His past work explored translating natural language instructions into robot navigation plans using logic-based representations for safe and efficient execution. His current project focuses on learning-based control barrier functions to enable safe robot navigation from noisy sensor data.


During his free time, he enjoys trekking, playing basketball, and video games.
