Ryan Teoh is an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles, pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Data Science Engineering. He is working in the Safe Autonomous Systems Lab at UCSD as a UC LEADS scholar. His research focuses on integrating Model Predictive Control (MPC) with DeepReach neural network algorithms to identify safe states in dynamic environments. His work leverages Hamilton-Jacobi reachability analysis to ensure safety in the presence of unknown agents and system disturbances.

Outside the lab, he enjoys the outdoors, mainly mountain biking and hiking, and also playing basketball and tennis.
